Lost In The Garden Returns with The Garden Edit & A Cosmic Evening

Every edition of Lost In The Garden explores a different way of experiencing the garden.

This August, we’re introducing The Garden Edit & A Cosmic Evening, two experiences that unfold across one day. Spend less time rushing from place to place and more time discovering something new. Whether that’s finding a local brand you’ll love, taking home a new plant, or looking through a telescope for the first time.

Experience 1: The Garden Edit

The day begins with The Garden Edit, a curated pop-up experience featuring a collection of independent brands, creatives and small businesses. Rather than creating a traditional market, we’ve carefully brought together businesses that celebrate design, craftsmanship and creativity. You’ll be able to shop collections from local fashion brands, discover Plants Love People, Lush Gardens’ curated plant sale, explore handmade piece, enjoy coffee products and much more.

The Garden Edit is designed to be explored at your own pace. Walk through the garden, meet the people behind the brands and discover something unexpected along the way.

Experience 2: A Cosmic Evening

As the sun begins to set, the experience shifts.

Timed with the August Full Moon, A Cosmic Evening transforms the garden into an outdoor observatory. Led by an astronomer, the evening includes guided astronomy, interactive sky mapping, constellation bingo and telescope viewing of the Moon. Whether you’ve looked through a telescope before or not, the experience is designed to make astronomy accessible, engaging and enjoyable for everyone.

There’s something special about observing the night sky from a garden. Away from the pace of everyday life, it becomes an opportunity to pause, ask questions and see familiar things from a different perspective.

Lost In The Garden has always been about creating experiences that encourage curiosity, and this edition brings that idea to life in two different ways. The Garden Edit invites you to discover what’s around you, while A Cosmic Evening invites you to discover what’s above you.

Together, they create a full day of exploration, creativity and discovery.
